Teigha J. Randolph, M.D.
Teigha Randolph joined the Internal Medicine practice of Kinston Medical Specialists in 1992. She received her medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia in 1989. She completed her internship and residency at Ohio State University in 1992. Dr. Randolph is board certified in Internal Medicine. She is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society, and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Randolph was voted “Best Doctor” in Kinston for several years.
K. Lee Johnson, M.D.
Lee Johnson attended East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. He graduated in 1997 with a degree in Medicine. Dr. Johnson continued at East Carolina University, completing his internship and residency in internal medicine in 2000. Dr. Johnson is board certified in Internal Medicine. He joined Kinston Medical Specialists, P.A. in July of 2000. He is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society, and the American College of Physicians.
Rupert W. Jilcott, III, M.D.
Rupert Jilcott received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri from 1974 to 1977. Dr. Jilcott began his medical practice in Kinston, N.C. in 1977 and joined Kinston Medical Specialists, P.A. on January 1, 2005. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Jilcott is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society, and the American College of Physicians.
Mohammad Omer Iqbal, M.D.
Dr. Iqbal earned his medical degree from Punjab Medical College in Faisalabad, Pakistan in 1996. He completed a residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY in their Internal Medicine and VA program in 2003. In September of 2007, he joined Kinston Medical Specialists, P.A. as a staff physician in the Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Iqbal is a professional member of the American College of Physicians, the Association of Physicians of North America, and the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. He has been an active member of his communities, being involved with OMEED and promoting health awareness and family planning, and a volunteer for National Drive for Polio Immunization, Community Medical Services.
Kris B. Cummings
Kris B. Cummings joined Kinston Medical Specialists, P.A. on January 1, 2011. She received her medical degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. in 2004. Dr. Cummings completed both her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Brody School of Medicine at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville, N.C. She became a staff physician for University Health Systems and practiced as a hospitalist at Pitt Memorial Hospital from July of 2007 to December of 2010. Dr. Cummings is a member of the Christian Medical Society and an active member in her church. Her professional memberships also include the North Carolina Medical Society. She finds Internal Medicine to be a rewarding profession and is dedicated to giving her patients the close personal attention necessary to provide them with the best possible healthcare.
Heather G. Matthews, PA-C
Heather Matthews earned her Master of Health Science degree and her Physician Assistant Certificate of Completion from the Duke University Medical Center Physician Assistant Program in Durham, North Carolina. She has worked at Kinston Medical Specialists, P. A. since November of 1999. Ms. Matthews is certified by the North Carolina Academy of Physicians Assistants and licensed by the North Carolina Medical Society. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.
Mallory Conway Tucker, F.N.P.-C
Mallory Tucker is a native of Kinston, North Carolina and joins Kinston Medical Specialists, P.A. with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Mrs. Tucker specializes in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She is currently seeing patients at the main office of Kinston Medical Specialists, P.A. She has mid-level privileges at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston, North Carolina. Her professional memberships include American Association of Nurse Practitioners, North Carolina Nurse’s Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
